SXK [Sexoskeleton Turing Test]
A fiction-sciene project by Quimera Rosa developed in collaboration with Victor Mazón & Oscar Martín
An interactive sensorial installation and performance that proposes a corporal relationship experience with an unknown person. Two participants are located in different spaces detached by a no linear wall. Each one of them has an exoskeleton connected to his or her body, with appliances that allow the sensorial exchange and the reception of data about the physical and emotional state of the other. The wall does not represent a physical barrier anymore, but a chance to relate: there is someone on the other side. The bodies do not disappear here, but the identities we associate to them do. A test that invites us to imagine the possibility of relating precisely through the interaction process that makes us get to know each other. Will the human pass this Turing Test?
